I’m afraid to say this post will be short, and I may not do Casa Ramos justice for their Taco Tuesday, but what you should take note is that Casa Ramos has a pretty good deal and you can find the restaurant easily.
Think of a Taco Bell taco. And if you’ve visited Vallarta’s, think of their tacos. Now take these tacos, and add actual, proper toppings and consistency. That’s what you get with Casa Ramos’ $1.00 Taco Tuesday deal. Having been here before, it’s definitely a good pick if you’re in the area. It seemed this time that their tacos had improved since the last time I visited, too. It’s not a very crowded place, so get there anytime you’d like (but to my understanding, the tacos might be starting from 6 PM). AND they’ve got a nice happy hour special from 3:30-6:30PM and 10:30 PM-12:00AM to take advantage of. **The margaritas looked on point.
From the tacos I had tried at Casa Ramos (from all visits), the black bean tacos are the best to order here. Although they normally come with flour tortilla shells, I was able to substitute it for the corn shell (you know… to make this bad boy more authentic). The chicken is extremely “watery”. I say “watery” since I can’t exactly discern whether or not it is liquid coming from some sort of broth or a sauce (more likely the former). I’d just skip the chicken. They’ve also got beef and carnitas ($2.00) that you can try out.
I’ll be revisiting this place and make a more accurate report on these tacos.
You haven’t seen the last of me, Casa Ramos!
